The famous motherboard manufacturer Biostar Microtech International has recently announced the launch of a number of Intel 4-series-based mobos. The newly announced products also include the company's TPower I45 motherboard. With the release, the company will step next to its competitors, which have already announced their Intel 4-series-based
mobos.

The products are designed to provide a computing platform for a number of users, depending on their technical requirements. The list of announced Intel 4-series-based mobos includes the TPower I45, TP45 HP, TP43 HP, TP45D2-A7, TP43D2-A7 and P43-A7, all of which come with either ICH10R or ICH10 southbridge chipset. The boards are meant to offer high-performance levels and some of the models provide that at a considerably affordable price tag.

The company's TPower I45 has been designed to integrate a full set of BIO-TEX technologies working along with the latest TPower utility. All of these are Biostar technologies meant to improve the quality of its motherboards and, thanks to the recently released TPower utility, users will benefit from an increased performance rate. The I45 is expected to use 100% solid capacitors and to provide support for 8+2 channel HD audio, PCI Express graphics and dual channel DDR2 memory.

The two PCI-Express x16 slots and the memory DIMMs capable of working at 1200MHz, along with the native support for 1600MHz make the Biostar TPower I45 one of the best choices, as far as high performance goes. The two graphic lanes obviously come with support for ATI CrossFireX technology, which will provide its users with a multi GPU graphics support.

The price tag for the high performance TPower I45 is said to be around US$179. The price range for the other models hasn't been made available yet.
