Less known mainboard manufacturer, respected Taiwanese company Biostar has launched a more affordable FM2 motherboard that is a perfect fit for those $50 AMD Trinity APUs that we reported on here.

The new product is officially called Biostar TA75MH2 and this one features a single PCI-Express Gen2 x16 video card slot along with two PCI-Express x1 slots and a classic 32-Bit PCI slot.

The quality of the mainboard is on the upside as Biostar has only used solid capacitors for the TA75MH2 and a big heatsink on the simple 5phase CPU VRM.

The two DDR3 DIMM slots can handle up to 32 GB of DDR3-1866 memory and the storage system enjoys six SATA3 ports with RAID 10 support.

Connectivity is good as the backside I/O comes with two USB 2.0 ports, two SuperSpeed USB 3.0 ports, a classic VGA connector, a DVI pot along with an HDMI port and a classic PS/2 connector, three HD audio jacks and the RJ45 GigabitLAN plug.

The UEFI mainboard is priced at just $89 (70 EUR) and availability should be immediate.
