14 DAY TRIAL // The AMD A88X chipset has struck again, powering an ATX form factor Fm2/FM2+ motherboard featuring high-end audio technology.
The audio technology actually determined the name of the thing: Hi-Fi A88W 3D, from the Puro hiFi audio tech, Audio+ (3D Audio, True Blu-Ray Audio, 3D HiFi Amp and 3D Smart Ear).
Audio+ is only one of six assets though, as determined by the "6+ Experience" feature set.
Video+ is the second: HDMI 3D 1080p and Dual-Link DVI port (resolutions up to 2560 x 1600 pixels).
There's also Speed+: support for PCI-E 3.0 technology and SmartSpeedLAN.
Protection+ is next: USB Overcurrent Protection, an ESD protection (Electrostatic Discharge) safeguard.
Durability+ is enabled by Low RdsOn P-Pak MOS (low resistance design that can significantly reduce the current in energy loss and the uses of a moisture-proof PCB).
Finally, DIY+ makes it easy to set up the PC exactly as you want it, via UEFI BIOS (Unified Extensible Firmware Interface) and BIO-Remote 2 (good for home-theater systems).
