BioWare has confirmed that today, April 1, it won't make any announcement about Dragon Age 3, so fans should dismiss any sort of detail they hear as just another April Fools’ joke.

Dragon Age 3 is BioWare's next big title, as it's set to appear ahead of the new Mass Effect game and the all-new property that's in development at the company's Edmonton headquarters.

Sadly, beside revealing a few details in the last six months, the studio hasn't actually posted any major updates about the work it's doing on the role-playing game.

Now, however, the studio did make a statement about Dragon Age 3, but only to warn fans that they should dismiss any announcement they hear about Dragon Age 3, as it's probably just an April Fools’ joke.

According to BioWare Community Manager Chris Priestly, the studio isn't planning on making any announcement about Dragon Age 3 today, April 1, so any details that appear online should be ignored.
