Not all of the ideas will make it into the final game

BioWare has now officially launched a process that asks fans of the Dragon Age franchise to offer their feedback on the content launched for the series until now and is also seeking to see what they would like to get from the next game.

Jessica Merizan, who is a community manager working at BioWare, has written on the official forums, “This is a conversation between fans, the community team, and the developers. Everyone at BioWare is incredibly excited about the future of the franchise but we’re interested in what you have to say.

“Every month, we will discuss a topic or question about Dragon Age and game development. You will have one week to post your thoughts, desires, and hopes before we close the thread for review. Moderators and developers will pop into the thread to chat every now and again, so keep an eye out.”

She added, “These questions and discussions are not only for future games, but other potential products like novels, animated features, pen and paper RPGs, and comics – all of which offer us opportunities to expand on parts of the world.”

The community manager emphasized the fact that the development team is not making any promise on the kind of content that they plan to create and that nothing about Dragon Age III will be officially revealed until the team is ready for a full unveiling.

But BioWare seems keen on talking to the player base and it seems that many ideas that the gamers are ready to offer might make it into the final version of the game.

BioWare has not official acknowledged that they are working on Dragon Age III, but an announcement is expected to arrive before the end of 2012.

Speculation suggests that DA III will offer gamers a chance to control both the Warden and Hawke as they travel to the Tevinter Imperium.
