BioWare says that it is creating cool story moments

It seems that, even though the new Mass Effect title is at the moment years away from its launch date, the team at BioWare in charge of it is already working on motion capture for the title, although it's unclear how important it will be for the coming story.

Ken Thain, who is a cinematic director at the studio, is offering an image of one of the sessions on his official Twitter account, allowing fans of the universe to get an idea about the process that goes into making sure that characters are as close as possible to the real world when they move.

The game maker has not offered any sort of other details about the scene that BioWare is currently tinkering with, and it seems that the company will continue to work on the game without sharing too much information with the players.

Thain says that the scene being dealt with is a cool one but it's unclear whether that means that a full story for the title has been already laid out and is now being implemented or if the developers are simply working on some starting points.

The new Mass Effect title does not yet have an official name, and fans have so far only gotten to see some concept images linked to it.

The Commander Shepard saga is complete

What is clear about the coming Mass Effect experience is that there are no plans to tell a story that is connected in any way to the initial trilogy, which featured the fan favorite Commander Shepard.

BioWare has said that it will be exploring some new concepts linked to the same universe and it has brought on Chris Schierf, who previously worked on Halo, to help create the narrative for the title.

At the moment, BioWare is continuing work on Dragon Age: Inquisition, which received its first major downloadable content pack, called Jaws of Hakkon.

More DLC will be offered in the coming months.

There are also rumors that BioWare is working on a project linked to the Star Wars franchise, which will be revealed later in the year.

Presumably, an entirely new Mass Effect will be developed for the PlayStation 4, the Xbox One and the PC and will be launched at some point in 2017.
