After the relative paucity of options offered for each character in Dragon Age II BioWare has big plans for the third title in the series, Inquisition, with the new Frostbite 3 engine used to make sure that all armor and items can be customized.

Aaryn Flynn, the general manager of BioWare, tells CVG that, “We want to make sure people feel that it’s their character and that it’s what they want it to be. So we have to empower the player a lot to do this – that’s a big priority for us.”

Customization is a good way of making players feel like their experience is unique and a solid system might also encourage players to replay the entire game.

The new Dragon Age will arrive in 2014 on the PC, current gen devices, the Xbox One and the PlayStation 4.
