Dragon Age has been successful enough to spawn a comic book series, a set of novels based on it and even an animated movie and it seems that BioWare might use secondary media to supplement some of the story introduced in the new Inquisition.

Jonathan Perry, the cinematic director working on Dragon Age: Inquisition, is quoted by Gamerzines as saying that if Morrigan does not play enough of a role in the narrative for fans, they might get a special comic book that reveals more about her.

He states, “A lot of fans wanted to see more of Alastair so we created this comic where he, Isabela and Varric went on all these crazy adventures. It gives fans more of a perspective into what they’re up to without us having to make a game.”

The developer emphasizes that BioWare has a clear vision for Dragon Age: Inquisition and has no plans to alter them based on pressure from fans.
