It seems that publisher 2K Games is at the moment preparing to officially reveal a new BioShock Infinite: The Complete Edition package, which is designed to offer gamers all the content that was ever launched for the game so that they can experience the complex story and the unique mechanics of the title created by Irrational Games.

AllGamesBeta has managed to capture listings for the new version of the title on store fronts before the pages were taken down, and those who pick it up will be able to get access to the core BioShock Infinite experience but also to downloadable content associated with it.

The most important additions are the two episodes of the Burial at Sea storyline, which take gamers back to the underwater world of Rapture and allow them to play as Elizabeth, experiencing new gameplay mechanics and a new narrative which shows how the universe connects the two experiences.

The official description states, "It features parts of Rapture you've never seen before, incudes modified stealth-oriented gameplay that brings you new weapons and plasmids, and involves nearly every major character from the original BioShock and BioShock Infinite."

Gamers will also get access to Clash in the Clouds, which introduces 60 challenges fought on four arenas and opens up access to unlocks that include more concept art and other audio and video associated with the world of Columbia.

The Columbia's Finest Pack introduces more weapons for gamers to use and more lockpicks and currency then the game offers when it starts.

Finally, those who pick up The Complete Edition for BioShock Infinite will also be able to use four exclusive pieces of gear associated with the Early Bird Special Pack.

At the moment, the new package does not have an official launch date.

BioShock's future is unsure at the moment

BioShock Infinite is a very good video game and the last project that was completed by Irrational Games, the studio led by Ken Levine.

The company no longer exists and the veteran developer has chosen a small number of other game makers with whom he is at the moment working on narrative-driven game experiences, although an official new project has not been announced yet.

The BioShock name and environments are at the moment the property of Take Two and the company has not yet stated which studio will work on it in the future or whether it plans to feature either Rapture or Columbia in future experiences.
