BioShock Infinite has just received a whole lot of details about its PC version, the array of features squeezed into the game, as well as the minimum and recommended system specifications required by the title.

BioShock Infinite is set to deliver an impressive experience that puts players in the shoes of Booker DeWitt who needs to infiltrate the floating city of Columbia and save a young girl called Elizabeth.

After hearing a lot of details about the game's features across multiple platforms, Irrational's Technical Director, Chris Kline, has posted a lengthy feature on the studio's website about the different attributes of the PC version of BioShock Infinite.

First up, the game allows players to customize their controls, features artificial mouse smoothing and even comes with support for multiple controller layouts, should players prefer such a thing instead of the good old mouse and keyboard.

In terms of graphics, BioShock Infinite supports DirectX 11, which means that, should you have a quality graphics board, you can enjoy all sorts of great options and even use a horizontal plus widescreen setting.

"We have six different graphics presets, from ‘Very Low’ to ‘Ultra,’providing a wide range of quality-versus-performance options. Gamers who want to tweak those further can switch to a Custom configuration, which gives you control over anti-aliasing, texture detail, texture filtering, dynamic shadows, post-processing, light shafts, ambient occlusion, and object level of detail. Many of these options have setting levels that are only available under DX11," he said.

What's more, the game's PC version comes with high-resolution textures which means that, while the game comes on three DVDs, it's going to look extremely impressive.

BioShock Infinite on the PC also has support for the Steam Cloud system as well as for the Big Picture mode.

Last but not least, Irrational then posted the minimum and recommended PC specifications, so check them out below.
