BioShock Infinite is out at the beginning of next year, but large retailer GameStop is apparently offering customers who pre-order it a special Flash-based mini-game called BioShock Infinite: Industrial Revolution that’s filled with items for the actual full-fledged experience.

BioShock Infinite is going to deliver a pretty impressive experience in February 2013, when it’s going to be released by Irrational Games onto the PC, PS3, and Xbox 360 platforms.

The game has recently received two special versions, in the form of the Premium and Ultimate Songbird ones, which are filled with all sorts of great real-life items and in-game ones.

Now, it seems that those who pre-order the game from GameStop in the U.S. will receive access to a special experience created in Flash called BioShock Infinite: Industrial Revolution.

According to a poster photographed by a NeoGAF forum member, the special mini-game offers over 50 levels of “industrial puzzle mayhem” that will reward players with “in-game items for BioShock Infinite”.

“BioShock Infinite: Industrial Revolution is a Flash based BioShock Infinite themed puzzle game exclusively available to those that pre-order the game before it releases on February 26, 2013,” the poster reads. “In this game, the player assumes the role of a factory worker within the sky-city of Columbia, and must complete increasingly difficult puzzles in order to support one of two factions: the Vox Populi or The Founders.”

As of yet, however, there are no official details available about this special mini-game, while the website referenced by the poster currently leads back to BioShock Infinite’s official page.

Offering an actual game as a pre-order bonus isn’t unheard of, as those who pre-purchase Hitman: Absolution receive the standalone Hitman: Sniper Challenge experience, which is basically a level that can be replayed in various ways over and over again.

Expect to hear more about BioShock Infinite: Industrial Revolution soon.
