Ken Levine, the video game developer best known for creation the original BioShock and the new Infinite, is said to be currently working on a remake of Logan's Run, the science fiction classic that aired in 1976.

A report coming from Deadline says that Levine is the new script writer for the project, which Warner Bros is working on at the moment.

Jon Berg is in charge of overall production and it's not clear exactly what story the new movie will tell, considering that the original was based on a novel that was published a decade earlier by William F. Nolan and George Clayton John.

The core story concerns a dystopian world, set in 2116, which kills everyone at young ages in order to control population and pressure on resources.

With BioShock Infinite Levine showed that he is able to create a powerful, mature science fiction story.
