Too little, too late sadly...

BioShock came, stunned the gaming community and left a trail of greatness behind, bowing as the great Halo 3 arrived to take the throne for "the best game of the year". However, there are people still playing 2K's hit title, either on their PC or Xbox 360 consoles. For those die-hard fanatics, there's now an improvement in that nasty activation issues affair. Turns out that a revoke tool which allows you to install BioShock on your PC as many times as you want or move it to another PC has been released. Yeah, it's a joyful day for PC gamers and it just got better as you can download the tool right HERE.

This tool is completely free and it only takes about 4.9 MB of hard drive space. Keep in mind that the fix only works with retail box copies of BioShock, as the Steam version of the game revokes an activation when you uninstall the title on a PC, so there's no need for such a tool. Also, it won't work for Direct2Drive, but what matters most is that finally 2K has listened to the public and turned the negative feedback into a decent initiative.

I guess that BioShock's producers had all the reasons to be extra-cautious in the first day after their acclaimed title was released, as hackers were roaming around it like sharks near a fresh piece of meat. This is probably one of the reasons for 2K's huge sales, but the game's quality generated such a vivid reaction from the public eager to play a quality product. The only bad thing about 2K's reaction when it comes to BioShock-related issues is the timing...

Gamers were crying about that widescreen bug for weeks already, when a fix surfaced and now, months after the game's release we've received a revoke tool for BioShock's activation issue... When will the next patch arrive? 2009 maybe?!
