Bing for Mobile has just got a new set of features aimed at bringing users closer to their friends on social networking sites and at enabling them easily watch videos and movies while on the go.

The new changes to Bing for Mobile are aimed at offering users a better experience than before through enabling them make faster decisions while consulting with their Facebook friends.

Bing has signed an exclusive partnership with Facebook that resulted in the release of “Liked Results” to the web earlier this year, a feature available on mobile devices as well now, on m.bing.com.

“Instantly see which stories, content and sites your Facebook friends have “liked,” from news stories, celebrities, movies, bands, brands and more,” Santanu Basu, Product Manager, Bing for Mobile, explains in a blog post.

“With the 'thumbs up' from your friends you can jump right to the stuff that matters the most to you. Bing shows the faces of up to three of your friends that like a search result, offering a visual and virtual seal of approval from your trusted social network.”

Those users who would like to take advantage of the new 'Facebook friends' feature in Bing for Mobile Browse should head over to the Settings page and connect to Facebook through the secured authentication process available for them.

In addition to this social feature, the new Bing for Mobile also brings along millions of videos from Hulu, MSN, Youtube and many other sources, all accessible for users while on the go.

Whether it's news or favorite videos, users will be able to easily have a look at the clips that their friends are discussing. Sports lovers will enjoy special tabs for MLB, NBA, and NHL.

Also, those who would like to pick up a movie to watch and cannot decide which one to choose should be able to take the decision easier through Bing for Mobile, as they can now ask their friends on Facebook to share their thoughts on a movie.

“Quickly review user and critic ratings while you browse the list of currently playing movies, watch trailers, and find show times. You can even ask your Facebook friends what they thought of a movie, or if they want to join you, all from within Bing,” the said blog post continues.
