Bing for Mobile, the software solution that was released not too long ago into the wild for all handsets running under Google's Android operating system on Verizon's airwaves, is now available for users on all US carriers. Of course, Bing was already included as the main search option for all Windows Phone 7-based mobile phones which arrived on the market in the United States on Monday, but it seems that Microsoft is set to push it to even more devices.

The Bing for Mobile Android App is now available for download for more users out there, straight from the Android Market.

“Since the launch of the Bing for Mobile Android App in the Verizon Wireless Android Market, many of you asked when the Bing App will be available from your own operators,” a recent post on Bing Search Blog reads.

“We are pleased to announce that we have just released the Bing App to all major U.S. mobile operators through Android Markets,” the said blog post continues.

With the Bing application, mobile phone users owning a device running under Android are offered the possibility to find various content and information on the Internet.

“As we highlighted in August, Android users can find the Bing image of the day with clickable hotspots, image search, news, local business listings and reviews, instant answers for movies, flights movies, and more,” the blog post reads.

Android users interested in the new application will find it available for download via the Android Market. Searching for “Bing” in the market will offer access to Bing Maps, Bing Widget and the Bing app on any Android phone in the US.

At the same time, the blog post notes that two new smartphones at Verizon come with the Bing for Mobile Android application preloaded on it, including Samsung Continuum and the Motorola Citrus.
