Microsoft is really keen on showing everybody that Bing is a much better search engine than Google, so the company performed one more test involving nearly 1,000 people.

The study performed by Answers Research, an independent company based in San Diego, revealed that 52 percent of respondents preferred Bing’s results over Google’s, while 36 percent of them had chosen the Mountain View-based company.

Another 12 percent chose Bing and Google equally, according to a blog post published by Microsoft.

“The participants were chosen from a random survey panel, were required to have used a major search engine in the past month, and had no idea that Bing and Google were specifically being tested, nor were they told Microsoft had commissioned the study. And we used just the web results pane only, so no ads, no Bing Snapshot and Social Search, no Google Knowledge Graph,” Microsoft explained.
