The new Bing Central promises to be a one stop location for everything related to Microsoft’s search / decision engine.

The new hub does focus quite a lot on the Bing Rewards program, but at the same time, offers an impressive collection of resources, information, guidance, and a set of options that put users in control of their search experience.

Bing Central is “one location for you to explore Bing services and features by completing fun missions, manage your Bing Rewards account, redeem great rewards in the redemption center and access account support as well as your profiles and preferences for Travel, Maps, Finance, and Shopping,” reveals Kelly Scott, from the Bing team.

“Bing Central gives you a hub to manage everything you do with Bing. From checking your Bing Reward offers and redeeming credits, to managing your search history to discovering helpful Bing features and services. Now it’s all in one place.”

As I have already said, Bing Rewards is pushed to front and center, and customers are invited to sign-up, complete missions, and earn credit.

The credit earned through the decision engine can subsequently be exchanged for a number of offerings from premium subscriptions to Microsoft points, etc. There’s an entire section on Bing Central dedicated just to redeeming Bing credit.

But at the same time, users can explore all that Bing has to offer in addition to rewards. The Discover tab on Bing Central offers insight into the social networking capabilities of Bing, but also on how customers can use the search / decision engine to find the best place to go out, the top vacation destination, or get access to entertainment.

Via the Account tab users can personalize their Bing experience, with options allowing them to set up preferences, location, control search history, rewards, but also how finance and travel info, maps and news are delivered to them.

There’s also the Support tab, dedicated to answering a set of questions that customers might have related to Bing.
