The holiday shopping fever is only bound to increase and spread, as Christmas approaches, to the levels when it is capable of catalyzing frantic behavior for customer. One sure way to avoid a customer frenzy is to do shopping online, and in this respect Microsoft along with various online e-commerce outlets, have made sure that shoppers will be able to seamlessly identify the best deals available to them and easily take advantage of discounts. The Redmond company is pointing online shoppers to its search/decision engine and especially to Bing Cashback.

Come Friday, November 27th, Bing Cashback will feature a range of sweet deals set up for holiday shoppers. Users need only a Bing Cashback account and to turn to Bing as the search engine that will help them find products. All items identified through Bing searches that come with the distinctive Bing Cachback mark, a sign that the retailers are participating in the holiday promotions program, will be available at a discount.

“Starting on November 27, Bing cashback will be offering increased discounts at a select number of merchants. There will be some pretty attractive savings at retailers like Macy’s, Home Depot, Dell, and many more,” revealed Kristin Meldahl from the Bing team. “So Friday morning after you have had your first of many leftover thanksgiving sandwiches, don’t worry about getting ready to go to the mall, just grab a laptop, a cup of coffee, your wallet, and a seat on your favorite couch and start your holiday shopping!”

Bing Cashback works by offering cashback rewards to customers that buy products online via the Bing search/decision engine. Of course, the specific online retailer from which customers will buy merchandise needs to be a part of the Bing Cashback program. Such retailers are easy to identify since results returned to Bing queries will be accompanied with the Cashback logo.

“I have never been one to wake up the morning after Thanksgiving to go and wait in a line at the mall for those crazy holiday shopping deals. As much as I have thought about it, the idea of sitting outside at 2AM in the freezing cold still trying to wake up from my Thanksgiving dinner food coma never really sounded that pleasing. Well things have certainly changed. Now I can take advantage of some great holiday savings right from the comfort of my very own home,” Meldahl added.
