Since mobile phones are currently being used for more than just making calls, being able to find content fast on them is one highly appreciated feature, and Bing for mobile is said to be capable of offering this feature to its users.

To be more precise, Bing for mobile comes with a feature that enables it deliver instant answers to its users, so that they enjoy faster access to information important to them.

“Are you a fan of instant answers on Bing? Well in case you didn’t know, you can even get instant answers on your phone,” a recent post on Bing community reads.

In case there are some unfamiliar with what these “instant answers” are all about, we should note that they are small snippets of information related to the keywords one searched for.

These instant answers would be displayed at the top of the search results, so that users get the most relevant info first, in an attempt to help them find what they are searching for faster than before.

Since instant answers are listed at the top of the search results, users won't have to clock multiple links until they find what they were actually looking for.

“This is especially great if you are looking for movie show times, flight status, weather, stock quotes or local listings,” the aforementioned blog post continues.

A quick look at the screenshots attached to this article should offer a few more details on what the "instant answers" feature on Bing for mobile is all about.

Thus, you should see what results are returned when searching for movies, flight statuses, weather, stock quotes, and more.

One live example would include searching for info on a specific flight, with results on departure, arrival, traffic and weather being delivered upon entering the flight number in Bing for mobile.

One thing that should be mentioned here is that RIM's BlackBerry smartphones do not support flight status at the moment.

“The next time you find yourself sitting in the airport wondering if your flight is on time or what weather is in store for you when you land, use Bing for mobile,” the blog post concludes.
