Bing Autos now sports more horsepower than ever before, with a new update rolled out to improve customer experiences when it comes down to finding and buying cars.

The refreshed Bing Autos comes with the promise of narrowing the gap between an average user and an automotive expert.

Fact is that information is key in making the right decision, and when it comes down to buying a new or used car, Bing Autos provides a range of data on anything from safety rating to fuel efficiency and engine details.

“Whether you're looking for a new car or a used car, Bing brings together all of the information you need to find the right vehicle in one experience. In addition to searching by make and model year, you can now find owner reviews, expert reviews, videos, pricing and dealer lists all on one place,” said Hemant Kumar, from the Bing Autos team.

The Bing Car Finder, complete with a collection of filters on the left hand side pane of this particular Bing vertical, makes it easy to narrow down the search results to the best choice possible.

And then, users can jump right in, and get exhaustive details on the models returned to their searches. One of the best features is the ability to compare vehicles to one another, and decide on the winner of the “automotive measuring” contest.

“With Bing Autos, you can browse criteria that’s relevant to you. On the left hand side of the screen, you can quickly filter across a breadth of categories including make, body-style, miles per gallon and year. Once you’ve found a car that you like, Bing Autos lets you compare it to a similar vehicle in a matter of clicks,” Kumar said.

And of course, users need to keep in mind that they’re in a search engine not a specialized auto app, so if they need additional information on just what torque is for example, they can easily access it.
