Update adds new image viewer, Bing homepage hotspots, and more

Microsoft has released a new version of its search engine client for iOS devices, adding new features and enhancements, including full compatibility with iOS 7.

Bing 4.1.1 lets you employ a new image viewer and swipe, zoom in, to view high-resolution images, and it displays the last seven days of Bing homepage images, with Retina display support.

Users now have access to Bing homepage hotspots, which offer information about the image of the day, and the app now supports iOS 7. Microsoft says, “Experience full compatibility with iOS7 in iPhone and iPad,” though Bing is still not a native iPad app.

Bing only requires iOS 4.3 and works with pretty much every iDevice currently in circulation, starting with the iPhone 3GS. You can download the app for free on your respective device using the link below.
