In a recent interview made by Wall Street Journal in the company of Bill Gates(Microsoft's co-founder), the subject of the richest man in the world's online surfing came up. Talking about his experience on You Tube, Bill admitted to having watched pirated movies. Gates said the video offer of You Tube led to him viewing of physics lessons and the comedy and basketball shows of the Harlem Globetrotters.

Asked by the reporter if the materials he has viewed on You Tube were not stolen, Bill answered evasively at first, labeling the action as copyright infringement, but in the end he left semantics aside and called it stealing.

The fact that even Bill Gates downloaded and consumed copyright materials is not necessarily a surprise. The quantity of such products distributed free of charge on the Internet can only be measured in terabytes, the peer-to-peer technology accounting for the largest part of the traffic of copyright materials that, in the BitTorrent world is in no way regarded as stealing or copyright infringement. Even Bill Gates proved how easy it is to access pirated products online.
