Paparazzi catch Microsoft’s co-founder during a vacation in Sardinia

When not helping Microsoft’s developments teams to bring better products to the market, fighting against diseases or reading books, Bill Gates likes to spend his free time with his family on vacations in the most exotic places across the world.

This time, Microsoft’s co-founder was spotted in Italy near Porto Cervo, Sardinia, enjoying the holiday just like the world’s second richest man in the world should do: with helicopters, yachts, scuba diving, jet skis, and all kinds of expensive things that you might never afford.

The photos you’re seeing here were made available by TMZ, that also writes that Bill Gates was spending the holiday with his wife Melinda and their kids, Rory, Jennifer, and Phoebe.

In case you’re wondering, Bill Gates’ net worth currently sits at $79.3 billion (€59.3 billion), even though he continuously sells Microsoft stock. Only recently Gates has reportedly sold 20 million Microsoft shares for an estimated $882 million (€660 million) in cash.

If Bill Gates continues selling Microsoft shares at the same pace, he could run out of stock in 2018, thus stepping away almost completely from the software empire he founded.

But leaving all of these aside, it’s holiday time (for some), so click the photos below to see how Bill Gates likes to party. Not too wild, but still.
