Microsoft’s chairman Bill Gates attended the company’s Research Faculty Summit 2013 to deliver the opening keynote and discuss about the Redmond-based technology giant and his charity effort.

As I told you not a long time ago, Gates also hinted that Microsoft Bob could return at some point, suggesting that virtual assistants could come in quite handy for many users.

In addition, Bill Gates talked about his charity efforts, explaining that the Gates Foundation continued to fight bad nutrition and disease in poor countries across the world.

"The average IQ in sub-Saharan Africa is about 82 and that's nothing to do with genetics or race or anything like that -- that's disease and that's what disease does to you, and that's why these things are such an extreme poverty trap,” he explained.
