Even though many people believe that he’s the only one who can save the Redmond-based software giant, Bill Gates says that he has no intention to come back to Microsoft in a full-time position.

Gates explains during an interview with Bloomberg that his charity is his main focus right now, so he’s not actually interested in replacing Steve Ballmer at the helm of Microsoft.

“My full-time work will be with the foundation for the rest of my life,” he says.

Gates, however, adds that he will work closer with the new CEO, but explains that Microsoft doesn’t really need to hurry to pick a new CEO, as such a process usually takes time.

“Yeah, you always feel that way, but then again you want to pick the best person. They'll move at the right pace,” he mentions, admitting that everyone wants a new CEO as soon as possible.
