Jealous of Sony?

Bill Gates recently granted an interview which was published on C|net, and in which he was supposed to talk about Microsoft's upcoming operating system, Windows Vista. He blabbered for some time about the OS and finally, he ended up talking about our favorite subject: game consoles.

From what I can tell, he is a little bit jealous of Sony next-gen as he started to bad-mouth Sony. He said that they were behind a year as regarding game console innovation and that they are going to sell a lot in Japan. Gates also said that if Sony made 80,000 bricks, people would buy them (Is he calling us stupid?).

I wasn't aware that Bill Gates had psychic abilities, as he declared in the same C|net interview that the Xbox 360 "is going to sell super-well" this Christmas. He continued by saying that he wouldn't trade place with Sony in a million years, concluding that Microsoft feels great about the position that they are in. Maybe there is some truth in all of this statements, as we have to admit that Microsoft are ahead of the game on some level, having a one year head-start in the next-gen war.
