Shocking new evidence is coming to light in the very muddled and very controversial case of Bill Cosby, one of the most beloved figures in American entertainment over the years, as he's now facing a slew of rape accusations. Now a man comes out of the shadows to shed some light on Cosby's alleged attempts at covering up his tracks.

His name is Frank Scotti and he is a veteran NBC employee who claims that he helped Bill deliver payments of tens of thousands of dollars to women who needed to be quieted. In an interview with the NY Daily News, the TV man explains how he became Cosby's right-hand man during the ‘80s and ‘90s.

Cosby had young models in his dressing room, in apartments all over the city, paid money to them monthly

When Cosby invited young models to his dressing room in the Brooklyn studios, Scotti would sit outside the door and keep guard as the comedian did not like to be disturbed. At the time, his fame was big enough to elicit attention from a horde of young girls who were struggling in the business.

Later, the actor would want to find a love pad, but since he was married, he couldn't openly purchase a new home, so he made Scotti do the legwork and finally broker the deal.

Finally, Scotti says that he used to give lots of women money on behalf of Bill Cosby and he claims that the payments would sometimes be as big as $2,000 (€1,613) per month.

The former NBC employee shakes his head and says, “He had everybody fooled. Nobody suspected.” Now 90 years old, the TV veteran gives a version of events which seems to perfectly fit with the accusations brought against Cosby by several women over the years.

Scotti's story checks out with the rape allegations made by Cosby's victims

Today, the number of women who have claimed to be abused or raped by the actor and comedian has grown to 14, and they all tell tales of how they were drugged and abused by a smiling Cosby who still managed to maintain his reputation spotless for decades after that.

Most of these attacks occurred in the ‘70s and ‘80s and targeted models and actresses, all of them young and all of them with a strong desire to have a successful career and be famous.

Scotti claims that he made monthly payments to as many as 8 women between 1989 and 1990 alone, including Shawn Thompson, whose daughter Autumn Jackson previously claimed that Cosby was her natural father.

The “fixer” admits that he knew that Cosby was sleeping with all of the women he was bringing money to, “Why else would he be sending money? He was sending these women $2,000 [€1,613] a month. What else could I think?”

In order for the ruse to be complete, Cosby used Scotti's name on the money orders so that he could have complete deniability. The dutiful studio manager realized only later that he was being used and he finally quit.

Cosby's legal camp has scoffed at the accusations, pointing out that Scotti's version of the story is based on pure speculations and that the former TV manager is looking to get famous off the Cosby scandal.
