Police have made arrests following the brutal attack on an SUV driver on the Henry Hudson Parkway in New York City this weekend.

A Range Rover driver has clipped one of the bikers, prompting them to swarm the vehicle, slash the tires and beat him up severely.

His wife and two-year-old daughter were in the car with him at the time. The biker attack on the SUV has been caught on video.

When the bikers caught up to him, they pulled him out of the car and assaulted him. According to CBS New York, 28-year-old Christopher Cruz has been arrested in the attack.

He has been charged with reckless endangerment, reckless driving, endangering the welfare of a child and threatening Lien.

NPR adds that 42-year-old Allen Edwards has turned himself in after the assault, but there is no information on whether or not he has been charged.

Meanwhile, one rider has been paralyzed from the neck down. Edwin Mieses has incurred injuries to his spine and he is currently in a medically induced coma. His legs have been crushed and he has suffered internal injuries.

“There’s no hope for his back. [...] They crushed his spine — broke it in two different places — so he will be forever, forever paralyzed,” his wife, Dayana Mejia-Meises, tells reporters.

He adds that his heart, lungs and ribs all incurred wounds. The couple have two kids, a 15-year-old and a 9-year-old.

“That man paralyzed my husband. [...] He needs to pay for what he did,” Mejia-Meises accuses.

SUV driver 33-year-old Alexian Lien has not been arrested at this point. He had called 911 to report that the bikers were driving erratically during an unauthorized motor show.

Mieses is not the man first hit by the motorist. He has gotten off his bike to check on the victim. The Range Rover has stopped as well, but, after the driver saw the motorcycle gang surround him, he sped up and ran Mieses over.

“When all the bikers stopped, my husband got out, parked his bike to walk over to try to help his friend.

“He walked over towards the front of the vehicle when, at this point, I don’t know what happened the man was scared, the man just peeled off and ran over my husband,” Mejia-Meises describes.
