Odd sounds coming from a swamp on the Umatilla Indian Reservation, near Pendleton, Oregon, is leaving residents puzzled and a tad startled.
The
Oregonian details that the sounds begun in November, and are basically a mix of roars and howls. Locals even claim that they heard high-pitched screaming.
"Some say it's foxes, some say it's a female coyote and some say it's Sasquatch. I don't know what it is," says housing authority official Colleen Chance, who recorded the sounds.
Around half a dozen calls have been received by the housing authority since the sounds were first noted.
Many residents believe that the noise is coming from "a young Bigfoot that had got separated from the rest of his clan."
