Nintendo has confirmed that it plans on sharing some big news about Pokemon X and Pokemon Y, the upcoming 3DS-exclusive titles, next week.

Pokemon fans have certainly enjoyed playing the Black and White installments on their DSi consoles, as well as their sequels, Black 2 and White 2.

More recently, however, Nintendo confirmed that it's finally going to release a new set of Pokemon titles for the 3DS handheld platform.

The two games, Pokemon X and Pokemon Y, boast all-new visuals, fresh sets of creatures, as well as two new legendary Pokemon, in the form of Xerneas and Yveltal.

Now, after hearing about the special evolution for Eevee that will be included in the two games, Sylveon, Nintendo confirmed on the Pokemon Twitter account that some big Pokemon X and Pokemon Y news is coming next Saturday.

No word yet on what that news might be, but you can expect to hear some more details about the two games ahead of their release in October for the 3DS.
