14 DAY TRIAL // Valve has launched another Beta version for its Steam for Linux client, fixing a few problems and various issues.
After a development version garners sufficient changes, Valve promotes it to stable. The work for the next beta starts almost immediately.
Highlights of the latest Steam for Linux update:
• A fix has been implemented for a problem that caused the resizing Big Picture on Linux, when a game or user changes the screen resolution; • A fix has been integrated for Steamworks P2P networking; • A fix has been implemented for the shift and control key state, which are sometimes sticking on Linux.

This is a Beta software and that means that bugs are bound to surface. Download the Steam for Linux installer from Softpedia and join the Beta program in the Settings in order to get access to the latest version.
