Freeverse, renowned developer of entertainment software, specializing in card and board games, has announced the official debut of its Big Bang Board Games for iPhone and iPod touch. The collection of 7 popular board games are brought to you in a special form - Sol and Luna, “intergalactic spirits of the cosmos,” present in every game to shoot lighting at you if they become upset, Freeverse says.

Currently available for iPhone and iPod touch
via the iTunes App Store, Big Bang Board Games include board favorites like Chess, Backgammon and Checkers, all displayed in 3D environments, offering unlimited undo options and auto-saving features. On the iTunes App Store, the collection of board games from Freeverse is described as follows.

This classic collection includes all your favorites: Chess, Backgammon, Checkers, Mancala, Reversi, 4-In-A-Row, and Tic-Tac-Toe. Sol and Luna, intergalactic spirits of the cosmos, are on hand to offer encouragement, taunt you, or even shoot lightning at your pieces if they become angry!

Featuring a full 3D environment, different piece sets, landscape and portrait mode, auto-saving, unlimited undo and animated talking opponents, the Big Bang Board Games packs a tremendous amount of entertainment into one App on your iPhone or iPod Touch.

Freeverse's Big Bang Board Games for iPhone and iPod touch require at least firmware 2.0 installed (currently at 2.0.2 for iPhone and 2.1 for iPod touch). The App Store download link is here.

Freeverse has also made available two new Mac titles recently. They are based on the popular TV shows Jeopardy! and Wheel of Fortune. Both have their free trial versions up for grabs as well, while the full games cost $19.95 each. More details here.
