Beyzacases is now shipping Apple MacBook Air Thinvelope Leather Cases. The sleeves give a whole new meaning to the way you carry around a posh notebook such as Apple's Air, but all this beauty comes at a price - one
that's going to burn a huge hole in your pocket.

Better make that two holes, counting the one already made by the actual notebook you're buying it for.

"MacBook Air is now in perfect fit with your Beyza Case to protect, to look more elegant & handy," Beyzacases states on its website. Well, for $215.00 their Thinvelope would better take "elegant" and "handy" to a whole new level. The specs too say that the MacBook Air Sleeve is "designed and crafted to perfectly to fit your device." How's that for top features?

However, the envelope's unique design, symmetrical flap, magnetic closure, slim and padded design, and soft protective lining do make it worth the Air owner's attention.

In fact, when writing to the makers on 16.05.2008, customer Klaus said the Thinvelope had exceeded "by far [his] expectations." He went to explain how he had "never seen such a high quality leather, perfectly sawn [sic], extremely looking good." "I am very pleased with your product," the satisfied customer went on to say, "and I am now sure, that it is worth the high price. The Macbook air fits perfectly, and I am sure, that it is the only envelope for it!" Klaus concluded.

Well, what do you know - that perfect-fit really is a top feature. Never thought a $200 sleeve could miss out on the part where the laptop actually has to fit inside. Anyway, I personally find the Antique Brown MacBook Air Thinvelope as the most aesthetically pleasant of the lot, but it still doesn't beat the C.E.O. Sleeve from Marware (pictured left). Not only does it sport a soft-lined interior that "hugs" the Air, reducing smudges and fingerprints associated with normal use, but it's also super-light, great looking and it costs just $24.99! Marware's C.E.O. sleeves also sport a magnetic closure and a super-slim design.

But people have different needs and, of course, taste so, in the end, it's your decision. Something's gotta give though, they both look stunning. So, which one would you grab?
