The development team at Quantic Dream has been acquainted with the PlayStation 4 from Sony for so long that it used some of the ideas linked to it on Beyond: Two Souls, which is being launched on the current-gen console from the company.

Guillaume de Fondaumiere, a co-leader of the development studio, tells Destructoid that, “By exploring the PlayStation 4, we got new ideas and worked very hard to implement them into Beyond’s engine.”

Beyond: Two Souls also uses new motion capture techniques designed to show off the actors’ work and add an extra degree of realism to the experience.

The team at Quantic Dream is also working on a new title that will be linked to the PlayStation 4, which is designed with an entirely new engine, which will probably be revealed at E3 2013.
