The PlayStation 4 Trophy list for the yet unannounced next-gen version of Quantic Dream's story-driven cinematic action-adventure video game Beyond: Two Souls has allegedly popped up online, further adding to the mounting evidence that the company intends to deliver a remaster sometime in the future.

The game is currently available exclusively for the PlayStation 3 computer entertainment system, having been released in October 2013, and was praised for the elaborate motion capture techniques and the stellar performance of the acting cast (among which Willem Dafoe and Ellen Page), for the engaging storytelling, and the emotional soundtrack, but was also criticized for the limited interactivity and shoddy narrative.

The PS4 Trophy list was picked up by Exophase, an achievement tracking website, and feeds the rumor mill stating that Quantic Dream's game is currently in the works for a PS4 release at some point in the future.

The rewards offered for completing various in-game tasks and for progressing through the story are, unsurprisingly, the same ones found in the original PlayStation 3 game's list.

Earlier this year, the game's PlayStation 4 version appeared listed on multiple European retailers' store fronts, with the last such report coming in just last week, claiming that the cinematic action-adventure video game is to be expected on Sony's newest computer entertainment system.

Even earlier than that, one of the programmers at the development studio posted some images showing him working on a brand new set of controls, to be used in Beyond: Two Souls with the DualShock 4 controller.

The images were quickly taken down, but fortunately some NeoGAF users were fast enough to immortalize them for all the world to see. The reveal also touched on some alleged deleted scenes that couldn't make the final cut, so we might get to see them in the remaster.

The game was released very late in the PlayStation 3's life cycle, just a month before the PlayStation 4's launch. A similarly heavy hitter, Naughty Dog's The Last of Us, was released a few months prior, and has since been already ported for the PS4, registering a hugely successful relaunch.

In addition to this, some of Sony's other PS3 games, such as FlOw, Journey, The Unfinished Swan and Flower, have also made the jump over generations, joining the newcomers to Sony's latest home console.

For the time being, Sony Computer Entertainment has released no official statement regarding the rumors, neither confirming nor denying the possibility of a PlayStation 4 edition of Beyond: Two Souls.
