14 DAY TRIAL // Video game developer Quantic Dream and publisher Sony are delivering the launch trailer for Beyond: Two Souls, which is now available worldwide, focusing on the performances given by the two main actors involved, Ellen Page and Willem Dafoe.
Ross Alexander, a product manager at Sony Computer Entertainment Europe, states on the official PlayStation Blog that the experience is specifically designed to create new emotions among players.
He says, "Every person is going to have a different experience with this game, in part because of how many variations the story can take, and in part because different moments of Jodie’s life will resonate differently with each person."
The game deals with themes of death and the afterlife and will ask players to create a connection with a supernatural entity.
David Cage, the leader of Quantic Dream, believes that Beyond: Two Souls is the next step in the evolution of storytelling in the video game medium.
