The latest issue of People Magazine crowns Beyonce as the Most Beautiful Woman in the World, which is precisely how she feels now that she's given birth to her first child, daughter Blue Ivy Carter.

Speaking with the publication, the star opens up a bit about how her body and life in general has changed with the pregnancy (quotes via the Daily Mail).

She never imaged motherhood would uncover a whole new dimension of her, Beyonce says, as we also informed you the other day.

It also helped her get her priorities right and this also shows in the way she dresses and styles herself.

“I never thought there would be a day when I wouldn’t wear heels. Now that I have a child, I walk around holding her all day, I’m buying loafers and oxfords. I love them, because they’re comfortable, and shorter heels too,” the star says.

“[Jay-Z] loves it when I wear flat shoes, which is surprising – he never saw me in flats before! He likes me more natural – just he relaxed, natural me,” Beyonce adds.

She's going so natural that, just recently, she even cut her own hair, she admits with glee even though, out of all people, she can definitely afford the best and most expensive stylist.

“I recently cut two inches myself – I just parted it in the middle and chh-chh-chh!” she says.

As for what she's doing to bounce back in shape after the pregnancy, Beyonce reveals she's already lost “the bulk” of the weight thanks to breast-feeding for the first ten weeks.

Right now, she's on a protein-based diet and works out three times a week, for 90 minutes. Each session is a combination of cardio and weight training, including, among other things, crunches, running and dancing.

“I’m definitely softer, but I feel my body bouncing back,” Beyonce explains.

As we also noted the other day, Beyonce says that being named the most beautiful woman in the world means a lot to her especially now that she's a mother.
