Singer says she's been dancing a lot to shift the extra pounds – and it shows

Beyonce gave birth to her first child, a girl she named Blue Ivy, at the beginning of the year but she's already thinking about the possibilities of having more. In the interview below, the diva also reveals a bit about her post-pregnancy workout routine.

The star was at the MET Gala 2012 on Monday night, wearing a lace and feathers Givenchy dress that left little to the imagination as to how insanely fit (yet insanely curvy) her body was.

While on the red carpet, she granted just one interview, to Entertainment Tonight.

You can see it below.

For starters, Beyonce says she doesn't rule out the possibility of having more children, though she hesitates to say whether that will happen sooner or later.

“I definitely want to have more. I don't know how many. God knows, I don't know yet,” the proud momma says giggling.

When complimented on her amazing figure and how quickly she lost the pregnancy weight, the star insists she didn't really stress out over this.

That is not to say though that she did nothing to lose the few extra pounds.

“I've been working really hard. I've been rehearsing, I have a show coming up and it's my first show in a year. There are no secrets. Discipline!” says the singer, adding that she's been “dancing, eight hours, nine hours a day.”

Even though she's now saying that she literally danced the extra weight off, in a previous interview, Beyonce admitted to struggling to get back in the game after birth.

She nursed Blue until she was 10 weeks old and it helped with the weight loss, but she also kept a tab on her calorie intake and did plenty of cardio.

“I lost most of my weight from breastfeeding and I encourage women to do it; it's just so good for the baby and good for yourself,” she said.

“I counted calories. I worked out maybe three to four times a week. I did a lot walking in the beginning and now I'm running. But I had to work my way up. I couldn't just go right from being pregnant to running,” Beyonce added at the time.

Whatever her solution to get her figure back in a healthy way, it's paying off. Just look at her wow on the red carpet.
