14 DAY TRIAL // Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are still to debut their first child, daughter North West, who was born in mid-June, in public, but the new parents and their friends have already celebrated the arrival of the new Kardashian family member.
According to reports in the British tabloids cited by the Daily Mail, power couple Beyonce and Jay-Z surprised Kim and Kanye with loads of very expensive designer gifts for their bundle of joy.
For those not in the know, not only is Kanye one of Jay-Z’s collaborators, but they’re also very good friends. Throughout their most recent joint tour, Kim and Beyonce also had time to get to know each other and bond.
As such, it makes sense for Jay and Bey to want to shower baby North “Nori” West with presents, having spent an estimated $7,450 (€5,806) on them, including on a “three-piece sterling silver Elsa Peretti Padova baby set with the tot's name on,” says the Mail.
“Kanye is one of Jay-Z’s closest friends so he wanted to get the best gift. They’ve had a girl themselves, so they know the right type of present,” an insider is quoted as saying.
Moreover, they also brought their daughter, Blue Ivy, to meet baby Nori.
“They also brought their baby girl Blue Ivy to come over and meet North. She’s old enough now to be really interested in babies,” the insider explains.
As for those old reports on how Beyonce couldn’t stand Kim because she considered any Kardashian beneath her for being a reality star, that’s all water under the bridge now.
“Any bad blood between the ladies has all been brushed under the carpet now Kim’s a mum – Beyonce was even sharing weight-loss tips with her,” says the tipster.
Speaking of weight loss, Kim’s personal trainer Tracy Anderson recently told the press that, while the curvalicious star was itching to get back into the gym, she’s not really fretting over the weight gain because she’s simply too in love with her adorable daughter to care about that right now.
