The “On the Run” tour is over, along with its scandals and success stories, and now the mediated couple of Beyonce and Jay Z is enjoying some time off from the spotlight. The two singers have spent the summer touring and now they are spending their autumn house hunting in the City of Lights – Paris.

Hello Magazine claims that Beyonce and her husband Jay have been spotted in Paris, scouting potential properties yesterday. Accustomed to only the finer things in life, Beyonce and Jay were said to have been looking at some homes near the Elysee Palace and on the Champs-Elysees in the 8th arrondisement.

Beyonce and Jay Z are looking to buy a home in the center of Paris

You don't need to be too familiar with Parisian geography and city layout to know that the street in question is located in one of the poshest regions in the French capital, which also means it's quite upmarket and very expensive.

The couple shared its visit in Paris with a photo on social media which included their daughter Blue Ivy and the Eiffel Tower.

Earlier this week, the couple who was in town for the Paris Fashion Week, was spotted leaving the world of high fashion behind and enjoying a game of football with British footballer David Beckham, who brought them to watch a match of his former club, Paris Saint-Germain taking on Barcelona.

Before their “On the Run” tour began, the couple was widely rumored to be eyeing a move to London, as their European foothold, but now it looks as though they're looking for something on the continent. It was believed that London was the first choice because it was English-speaking and Blue could go to school there.

The couple already own a home in the center of London

Journalists spotted the couple back in May looking at properties outside of London, but eventually they allegedly settled on a townhouse in the center of London worth €6.6 million ($9.2 million).

A source close to the couple explained that “Both Jay and Beyonce are Anglophiles and have been toying with the idea of getting a pad for a couple of years now. On previous trips, they have stayed in five star hotels and, on one occasion, a rented mansion. While money isn’t an issue, it makes sense for them to have a more permanent base and get to know one particular area.”

Now the couple seems to have added Paris to the list of cities they want to live in. Of course, a move to Europe also has other benefits too, the most important being a reduced number of paparazzi stalking them, compared to Los Angeles and even New York.
