14 DAY TRIAL // What with all the rumors and news bits around Comic-Con 2014, which kicks off in San Diego next week, you’d be excused if you forgot about the premiere of the first official trailer for “Fifty Shades of Grey,” which also happens next week – on July 24, to be more exact.
If you did, Beyonce is here with an amazing reminder for you: a 30-second video she posted on her Instagram account, which includes not just a teaser trailer but also a teaser for the song she’s recorded for the official OST.
You will find it embedded below: it doesn’t really show too much, but then again, if it did, it would not have been called a “teaser.” If you read E.L. James’ trilogy of adult novels on which this first film is based, you need no more explaining to understand it. For those who haven’t yet, that’s Christian Grey’s hand, and in that other shot, Anastastia Steele’s knees.
“Fifty Shades of Grey” stars Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson and is based on the first novel in James’ trilogy, which she started writing as “Twilight” fanfiction. Unlike “Twilight,” it doesn’t have any vampire characters but it more than compensates for that through plenty of steamy scenes, described in detail.
All these scenes will be handled artfully, which probably means that fans shouldn’t expect to see too much of Dornan or Johnson’s bodies and / or lovemaking sessions. The film comes out on Valentine’s Day 2015 and will be presented as a “love story.”
