14 DAY TRIAL // The Beyonce – Kim Kardashian drama is getting front cover again. Over the weekend, their respective partners, Jay-Z and Kanye West, performed at the Made in America Festival in Philadelphia, but reports indicate there was no love lost between the two beauties.
Celebrity gossip lovers must already know that talk of a rivalry or feud between the two has been around for months, having started to gain momentum after it became clear that Kim was serious about her new beau, rapper Kanye.
After what happened at the BET Awards 2012, few were those who actually expected Beyonce and Kim to become best friends (BFF in celebrity-talk) but, for those who did, all hope dies now, with this New York Daily News report.
Sources reveal that, at the Made in America Festival in Philadelphia, Beyonce went out of her way to ignore Kim, snubbing her once more in front of so many people.
“Kim and Beyonce barely spoke to each other. They were on opposite sides of the stage. Beyonce didn’t even acknowledge [Kardashian] was there until the concert was almost over,” the insider says.
This was quite a complicated feat to achieve because Jay and Kanye were performing together so, to ignore a person under this circumstance means going out of your way to do so.
However, Beyonce wasn’t the only one into snubbing on this particular occasion, the report further mentions: Kim did the same, which could hint she’s over her initial infatuation with the singer, and is no longer desperate to be friends with her.
“[Kardashian] didn’t make any efforts to go speak to Beyonce either,” another tipster says, with the NY Daily News adding that, “instead, she spent her time hanging out with best friend Jonathan Cheban and West, when he wasn’t performing.”
“[Eventually, the two] made small talk in the dressing room, but you could tell Kim was uncomfortable. She clung onto Kanye the entire time and didn’t say much,” adds another source.
“[Kardashian] was talking to Jonathan, and Kanye was talking to Jay-Z and Beyonce,” the insider goes on to say.
As the saying goes, oh, to have been a fly on that wall.
