You wouldn’t be able to tell it by looking at Beyonce’s GQ cover photo, but she gave birth to her first child only last year. The newly released pic was shot by Terry Richardson and has the diva showing plenty of skin.

Of course, Richardson isn’t exactly known for being the kind of photographer that goes for modesty. As for Beyonce, with a body like hers, who can blame her for wanting to show it off.

The other day, word first started to make the rounds online in the blogosphere that Bey fans had one helluva surprise coming their way, as their idol had agreed to show off her amazing figure in a revealing spread for GQ.

Minutes later, a scan of the purported cover emerged online.

Today, the mag has released the official photo in high quality, though, as the Huffington Post notes, it does not say whether it will be featured on the cover of the upcoming February issue or not.

Logic would dictate that it will.

After a more or less quiet 2012, Beyonce is getting ready to come back big in the spotlight. She’s been very active on social media these past few months, while also working on expanding her brand, most notably with a major Pepsi deal.

Bey is also scheduled to perform at the Super Bowl Halftime show, but also at the Presidential Inauguration of Barack Obama, while also getting ready for her first-ever documentary to air on HBO.

Speaking of which, the film will premiere on February 16 and, as we also noted a while back, will include anything from footage from backstage of her major shows to more intimate glimpses into her personal life.
