For a few days now, rumors have been making the rounds that Beyonce may be using a prosthetic baby bump to appear 5 months pregnant. She’s letting her rep do all the talking – because she can make a statement without having to say a thing.
They don’t say that a picture is worth a thousand words for nothing. The other day, Beyonce made a public appearance in a very tight dress that left little doubt as to her having a protruding belly.
Her choice for a dress seemed to hint that she wanted the world to see that she was really pregnant, the
Daily Mail infers – as if she wanted to squash the rumors by simply stepping out and showing her tummy off.
“While most expectant mothers hide beneath unshapely maternity wear, Beyonce Knowles wants the world to see her growing tummy,” the British tab writes.
“The songbird stepped out in a black curve-hugging dress with a navy stripe that clung to her stomach to show off a blooming bump,” adds the publication.
“As she ran errands in Manhattan, she didn’t exactly dress for the rainy weather, but her bodyguard protected her hair and heels with an umbrella,” the Mail further says, commenting on the batch of photos taken on the occasion.
As we also informed you last week, talk that Beyonce may be using a prosthetic baby bump to fake the pregnancy emerged after she made an appearance on Australian TV and, as she was sitting down, the bump appeared to fold in on itself and then spring back to its initial shape.
Word online had it that either she wasn’t pregnant at all (and would have a baby delivered via surrogate) or she was but wasn’t as far along as she said, but still wanted all the media attention.
Her rep issued a statement the second day to call the rumors “stupid, ridiculous and false.” Beyonce, it seems, knows that a picture can be
more convincing.
