Beyonce chooses to express her feminism by posing in a way reminiscent of that classic blond bombshell, Marilyn Monroe. For a photoshoot for OUT magazine, the May, “Power Issue,” Beyonce channels her inner diva and goes platinum blond.

At least, that's what we can make out from the black and white photos of the singer in which her hair looks white, while she poses with her eyes closed and with her hands clasping her chest.

The photos are made in connection with the interview inside the magazine, in which Beyonce explains how she's a feminist living in a world where “men are free and women are not.”

This is not the first time that the singer has advocated for women's rights and has expressed some strong views on feminism, so this is nothing to be surprised about. But this time Beyonce does make some new points.

“Being that I am a woman in a male-dominated society, the feminist mentality rang true to me and became a way to personalise that struggle. But what I'm really referring to, and hoping for, is human rights and equality, not just that between a woman and a man,” she argues in her interview.

She brings into attention her recent album and tour and outlines how she used her music to inspire women all over the world, “So I'm very happy if my words can ever inspire or empower someone who considers themselves an oppressed minority. We are all the same and we all want the same things: the right to be happy, to be just who we want to be and to love who we want to love.”

The singer, who has just recently finished “The Mrs Carter Show” tour, claims that she embraces her weak points and gives an example of such an imperfection when recording the hit song “XO,” “I was sick with a bad sinus infection. I recorded it in a few minutes just as a demo and decided to keep the vocals. I lived with most of the songs for a year and never re-recorded the demo vocals. I really loved the imperfection.”

Though she might embrace her flaws, in the photos published by the magazine that is due out on shelves on April 22 she looks flawless and she sizzles as a glamorous Hollywood starlet. Though the comparison with Marilyn Monroe might be controversial for some, Beyonce proves that she's a chameleon when it comes to her looks.
