Beyonce Makes First Appearance Since Giving Birth

Beyonce is rocking those post-pregnancy curves! The singer, who gave birth to her first child a few weeks ago, has made her first red carpet appearance since the happy event the other night – and she's getting everybody talking about it.

As her fans must know, Beyonce and Jay-Z welcomed their first child together, daughter Blue Ivy Carter, via natural birth at a NYC hospital in January this year.

Since then, the new mommy has been keeping a very low profile, only offering a few quotes to a celebrity magazine and spending all of her time with her new bundle of joy.

The other night, Beyonce stepped out in support of Jay-Z, who performed at the Carnegie Hall – and it was her first appearance since giving birth.

The Daily Mail has the photos. Suffice it to say the new mom looked positively radiant in a figure hugging dress that put her newfound curves in the spotlight.

“Beyonce made her first public appearance last night to celebrate Jay-Z's two anticipated shows at Carnegie Hall to benefit United Way of New York City and The Shawn Carter Scholarship Foundation,” the British tabloid writes.

“The mother-of-one opted for an elegant Alice Temperly frock, teamed with Ofira & Lorraine Schwartz jewels, a quirky Alexander McQueen clutch bag and a pair of sparkly Christian Louboutin heels,” adds the Mail.

She was the picture of elegance and style, without overdoing it a bit. Everything, from her straightened hair to her impeccable accessories oozed style and a confidence she never had before.

“Her straightened hair, which was perfectly groomed and primped but without being overstyled with products, hung loosely over her shoulders as a pair of large gold hoop earrings peeped through,” the Mail notes.

“She walked with a confident stride and swagger, proving she hasn't lost any of her girl power since becoming a mother,” adds the same publication.

Since announcing her pregnancy, Beyonce has been attacked from all sides by rumors that she was either faking it or lying about it because she was never that far along.

With this appearance, it's likely that all such rumors will come to an end, her supporters are saying on dedicated forums.
