14 DAY TRIAL // And they said they wouldn’t see eye to eye: Beyonce and husband Jay-Z recently took some time out to spend the morning with their good friend Kim Kardashian and her new bundle of joy, baby girl North West, it has emerged.
Us Weekly writes that the power couple made a special stop at the Jenner house over the weekend, because they wanted to see how the new mommy was doing.
Tellingly, Kanye West, a longtime friend and collaborator of Jay Z and the one who actually introduced Kim to the music industry elite, wasn’t at home at the time.
“Beyonce and Jay Z took time out of their busy touring schedules to make a very important stop at Kris Jenner's home in Calabasas, Calif. on Sunday, July 28, to pay a visit to Kim Kardashian and baby North West, a source confirms,” Us writes.
“Though best bud Kanye West wasn't home at the time (the rapper is currently in Milan, Italy), both Jay and Bey spent the morning with Kardashian, 32, who has not been seen out in public since giving birth to her tiny bundle of joy on June 15,” adds the same media outlet.
Unlike the first time Bey and Jay visited Kim and North, they did not bring their own daughter, Blue Ivy, along. Neither did they bring presents or, if they did, the publication got no word of it.
“Jay Z was later spotted grabbing a meal at trendy sushi spot Gjelina in Venice Beach, Calif.,” the glossy further writes.
In other Kim Kardashian-related news, a few days ago, word got out that she wanted to milk her divorce from Kris Humphries for all it was worth, even trying to get him to agree to having a “final” talk over Skype, which would have been included on the series.
The move, it seems, would have made Kim look better after the divorce controversy (she filed after just 72 days, with reports saying she pulled a huge PR stunt on her fans for ratings), because she would have asked for his forgiveness during the talk that ended up never happening.
Humphries reportedly turned her down.
