Beyonce Knowles released the video for the second single extracted from her latest album, 'Ring the Alarm', but many fans are unsatisfied with the major changes with which the artist is bombarding them.
Basically, the song is about female independence and the stylish video shows a somewhat crazed Beyonce doing a bit of Sharon Stone in 'Basic Instinct' scene and a lot of wacky dance routines. Sure, Miss Knowles is more energetic than ever, but we couldn't possibly agree with all those bad-mouths, because the dancing is a perfect match for the beat of the track.
The only thing that could be said to be not so good on her second single is that, in our opinion, the chorus is somehow annoying, not due to something particular or something that you could just put your finger on. But the beat and Beyonce's voice, not to mention her lively performance throughout the entire song is absolutely thrilling.
'B' Day' is definitely marking a new stage in the artist's life and it's worth seeing (and listening to). And speaking about the album, it seems that Beyonce was not aware that its name is pronounced as 'bidet'. The title stands for 'birthday' and she now regrets not having chosen one that might have led to less mispronunciations and confusion.
When promoting 'B' Day', the curvy singer told BBC: 'When I came up with the title, I wasn't thinking about a bidet. And if I had, I would have probably named it birthday, or just B'. Maybe next time around, Beyonce...
