14 DAY TRIAL // Beyonce is done pretending things between her and husband Jay Z are peachy and she’s tired of fighting for a marriage that no longer works. She is now planning the divorce, after coming to the conclusion that it’s the only alternative she and Jay have.
The latest issue of Us Magazine dedicates the cover to what promises to be one of the most mediated breakups in showbiz in recent years, but goes scarce on the details.
Still, in the online preview issue, the mag claims to have it on good authority that Beyonce “has a plan of action in place for if/when she decides to call it quits with her rapper hubby, 44, dad to her 2-year-old daughter, Blue Ivy.”
“One source says ‘she is done’ after their remaining On The Run shows in Paris, France,” the publication adds. Those remaining shows are scheduled for mid-September, which means that this is when Beyonce will be filing the papers.
“The ‘Crazy in Love’ singer has done her best to quiet the chatter with happy family pictures posted to Instagram, but insiders say things aren't so rosy behind the scenes,” the report continues, promising more details on “her escape plan, her worries about what one source calls Jay Z's ‘wandering eye,’ and how she's leaning on newly single pal Gwyneth Paltrow” in the print issue.
This is nothing we haven’t heard before. Before the final date on the US leg of the tour, many media outlets were saying that Beyonce would “totally” announce the divorce once that was over but here we are, after all these days, and still not divorce announcement and / or filing.
Speculation on the state of her marriage has been rampant since May, when a video leaked online, showing her sister, Solange, attack Jay Z while Beyonce looked on. You will find that video embedded below.
Rumor has it that this was Solange confronting Jay Z for his cheating, which would explain why Beyonce did not react in any way to make her cool down and stop hitting her husband like that.
Officially, there’s absolutely nothing to suggest marital problems between Beyonce and Jay Z, in the sense that they have not been acting any differently now than they did before the Solange incident.
So, either all these unnamed insiders speaking to the press are full of it (or just wishing bad things on Bey and Jay), or there really is no smoke without a fire – in which case, the divorce announcement should drop soon.
