She may be the number one 'fantasy girlfriend' (according to a recent poll by askmen.com), she may be an accomplished singer and actress and one of the highest paid entertainers in showbiz, but sources from inside say that Beyonce is in no way to be convinced to pay for her dancers' flight tickets.
Miss Knowles is currently on a promotional tour for 'Dreamgirls' and sources are telling PageSix that she will soon go on yet another world tour for her 'B' Day' album, even if it has been released several months ago. According to the spies, the singer is far from the person we see on TV and on red carpets and this is exactly what her team of professional dancers got to see first-hand.
PageSix writes that Beyonce is not the one to throw money to the left and right, not even if that money is for plane tickets. And, wait, there's more: all the dancers were contacted by the singer's people and told that, for a period, they would have to work for a salary of $400 per video, which is very little compared to the whopping amounts she makes or to the salaries dancers usually have.
'They had to pay for their own flight and work for a measly $400 per video.', PageSix writes. It seems that Beyonce's cheapness goes even beyond this harsh condition she imposed on her dancers. She also told them that, were they to contact their agents to complain about the situation, they would be fired on the spot. Obviously, not one dared to call their agents after being told this, since being a dancer for such a big star as Beyonce is a great launching platform for them.
PageSix contacted Beyonce's publicist for confirmation on this story but their calls were not answered until now.
